I hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Please feel free to leave any comments (positive or negative) on any of my photos. The photo (Boathouse Pond in Autumn) was selected to represent the month of September in the Erie Bank 2011 calendar. The photo of the Leopard that I titled Big Cat was selected as the cover of the book "50 Years of the Erie Zoological Society".

I became interested in photography when I received my first camera for Christmas when I was 6 years old. That first camera was a Kodak Brownie Holiday. I still have the camera and flash in their original boxes. Since that camera I have owned many different cameras from Yashica to Nikon, but I have now settled to use Canon exclusively.

My desire is to share with everyone the time I spend in the great outdoors with my cameras and my girlfriend Chris, with whom many of these photos would not be possible because she alone holds our canoe steady while I attempt to capture the photo.

Because our world and nature are constantly evolving and changing I try to preserve with photos that what once was and shall never be again.

I have taken a bird biology class with the Cornell Lab and I am a member of the National Audubon Society. Also I am a member of The North American Nature Photographers Association commonly known as NANPA.

Again thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Remember "Life is what happens when you forget to bring your camera!"
